Hudson Woods - Where Design Meets Nature – From the Source: Dzierlenga F+U

by HudsonWoods

Dzierlenga F+U is a woodworking and design studio in the Hudson Valley operated by our friend Casey Dzierlenga. You might recall our first story about Casey and how the Hudson Valley inspires her work. Since then, we have completed the model house and installed a couple of her designs as part of the furnishings. Casey has also released a number of new pieces, including items that have been licensed by our friends at West Elm and Kaufmann Mercantile.

Her Lorca Side Table was recently included in an exhibit at the Craft & Folk Art Museum in Los Angeles. The exhibit is called Windfall by Box Collective. It includes pieces by another one of our local design friends, Samuel Moyer and is on exhibit through September 4th. Here in New York, you can also find Casey’s work at the newly launched FAIR showroom. Casey and Sam are also exhibiting their furniture at Boscobel House And Gardens, in Garrison NY, where Hudson Woods Architect, Drew Lang recently spoke on the role of Architecture in creating a sense of place. You can find a number of our maker partners in the exhibit along with many other local designers, including Fern Handcrafted and Michael Robbins Furniture.
