When looking for shading options to finish the interior furnishing at the Hudson Woods model house, it was important to strike the right balance between warmth, simple elegance and functionality. The window dressing selection has a strong influence on the mood and atmosphere of the space.
For the model house we used battery powered roller shades from our friends at JGeiger Shading Technology. Their shades are designed by founder James Geiger with a system that has no exposed screws or wires, eliminating the need for enclosures or fascias and offering a minimal refined aesthetic with attention to detail and functionality. Each bracket is milled in the United States from solid aluminum. The same care and craftsmanship that goes into production is put into every installation. They employ a unique two-step installation process that ensures a perfect fit.
JGeiger has a showroom in the A&D Building in Manhattan but we worked with Nicole Scheinholz to install the shades at the model house and she can be reached at 646-927- 0310 or nicole@j-geiger.com.
