The Woodstock Farm Sanctuary is a great cause just a stone skip away from Hudson Woods as well as a fun family stop on the weekends. A 20 minute drive south of Hudson Woods, The Woodstock Farm Sanctuary rescues animals and gives them a lifelong home and care with a mission to connect animals with people and raise awareness around animal rights in alliance with other social justice movements.
The sanctuary welcomes visitors to come and meet animals on weekend tours where guests are taken from species to species and enter the pastures and yards with many of the animals who enjoy petting and playing with people. The tour guides tell their rescue stories but also talk about the impacts of industrialized farming on their lives.
